The Role:

You will attend great events from Petts Wood Mayfayre to St Christopher's Dog Show and Food Festival in Green Street Green, and Chelsfield Village Fayre as well as the London Marathon and Pride to raise funds and promote first aid.

You will also attend our unit meetings where you will have an opportunity to learn first aid.

You do not need prior experience or training. We provide all training and equipment you need for you to successfully fulfil your role. We also cover your expenses so that you are not left out of pocket.

This role is ideal for someone who is keen to get involved but does not neccesarily have the time or want to maintain a first aid qualification to be an event first aider.

The Orpington Unit

The Orpington Unit meets each week on a Tuesday between 19:20 and 21:00 at a convenient location in the Orpington area. At a unit meeting you will hear about upcoming events and receive training as socialise with a like-minded passionate group who are keen to help others. Once you have applied just let us know and then you can attend our unit meetings.

We are a friendly and passionate group of volunteers who are keen to pass on our knowledge to save lives. Our volunteers come from Orpington and the surrounding areas including St Mary Cray, Petts Wood, Green Street Green, Locksbottom, Pratts Bottom, Knockholt, Hayes, West Wickham, Bromley, and Chislehurst.


Time Commitment:

This is a flexible volunteering role you can give as much or as little time as you can afford.

If you are no longer able to volunteer, you can stop at any time; all you need to do is let us know and give back your uniform.
