Orpington 1st have once again installed flower towers across the high street as part of their continued efforts to improve the town centre environment.
27 flower towers spanning the length of the BID area are now in situ, with additional hanging baskets and barrier baskets added in prime locations.
This year, the town will once again be entering the London in Bloom competition, following silver success last year, and the business community is working closely with community organisations to further improve the Look & Feel of the town.
"The town centre business community, Orpington 1st, understands how important the environment is to the overall customer experience." said BID Manager, Chris Travers. "The flowers receive very positive feedback from both residents and visitors, as well as those who work in the town, and they're an important element of our drive to be a welcoming town centre."
Orpington 1st have also worked with the London Borough of Bromley to bring new signage and litter bins to the town centre, with installation of both anticipated to be completed during the Summer.
