A new Indian restaurant focusing on authentic regional indian cuisine, has opened on Orpington High Street. Masala Dabbas will provide diners with authentic cuisine from across India’s diverse regions, served in an elegant yet relaxed setting and prepared by an exciting team of chefs with experience in London’s high-end Indian restaurants.
With the pervasive ‘Indian Curry’ of the sixties and seventies no longer serving the more adventurous palates of the discerning UK diner, the team at Masala Dabbas aim to bring you “The ‘Indian’, as Indians know it”, complemented by large collection of wines and beers, including craft beers and wines from Kent.
An extensive refit has delivered a fresh and sophisticated addition to the High Street, following an investment of £400,000. Masala Dabbas will provide jobs for 15 people once fully operational.
Local MP, Jo Johnson, visited the restaurant for their official opening and met with members of the Masala Dabbas team.
Jo said: ‘It’s a pleasure to visit Masala Dabbas, the latest culinary addition to Orpington High Street. We have a number of fantastic eateries in Orpington and this is no exception – Masala Dabbas’ menu offers an exciting array of dishes from all over India with something to suit everyone’s taste.’
Masala Dabbas is at 294 High Street, Orpington. To book, call 01689 601 429 or visit their website to book online.
