Green Christianity for a Fragile Planet - a panel debate and exhibition organised by Churches Together in Orpington to inspire and equip us to take action to care for the planet.

Speaking, debating and answering questions at ‘Green Christianity for a Fragile Planet’ will be Jo Johnson, MP for Orpington; Billie Anderson from Tearfund, a UK Christian relief and development agency; Helen Stephens from A Rocha UK, an international network of environmental organizations with a Christian ethos; Jo Musker-Sherwood from Hope for the Future which brings together local politicians and communities to take decisive action on climate change, and Councillor William Huntington-Thresher, Portfolio Holder for Environment and Community Services, London Borough of Bromley.

From 6.30pm there will be refreshments and an opportunity to look at the exhibition stands focusing on environmental issues both local and national. The debate begins at 7.00pm; to submit a question in advance call 0114 312 2619.
